About Me

I am a sophomore at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism studying journalism, international studies and French.

Most recently, I covered business and politics for Medill News Service in Washington, D.C. I reported on congressional hearings, interviewed lawmakers in Capitol hallways and contributed to the Washington Post's coverage of the 2025 Virginia gubernatorial election.

This past summer, I worked as a reporting intern at Midstory, an Ohio-based non-profit media thinkhub dedicated to telling stories of the Midwest. I wrote features on sports, food and entertainment and spoke with "The Paper" creators Greg Daniels and Michael Koman.

I also write for Northwestern campus publications including North by Northwestern magazine and Inside NU. At the Daily Northwestern, I've served as Assistant Arts and Entertainment Editor and Assistant Social Media Editor. But people like to joke I've written for every desk at the paper, and it's true — I've covered campus news, city council and Big Ten Sports in addition to the arts. I also contribute frequent galleries to the photo desk.

I've been credentialed to cover Supreme Court oral arguments, film press junkets and NWSL playoff games. Any topic interests me as long as there's a good human interest story. Outside the newsroom, I love visiting bookstores, browsing for movies on Letterboxd and cheering on Bay Area sports teams.
